How our courses are researched, written and reviewed
Buyers and search engines both ask the same question of training content: can it be trusted? This page sets out exactly how each course is made, so you can judge for yourself.
Sources and fact-checking
Every statistic, date, named case and regulatory statement is verified against a current, dated source before it is written into a course, and anything time-sensitive cites the latest source by year.
Plain language, UK English
Courses are written for a complete beginner, in UK English, with real tools named where that helps and a reminder that tools change quickly. The aim is practical understanding, not vocabulary.
Assessment design
We build every course to a proven design, one that takes a dense subject and turns it into something clear, well paced and easy to sit through in one go. Four short quizzes check your understanding as you go, so you know what has landed and what is worth a second look, not just at the very end.
Accessibility
Narration and captions on every screen, keyboard navigation, a responsive layout for PC and tablet, and colour contrast to WCAG 2.2 AA. See the accessibility statement for the detail.
Compliance courses
Any course about a law or regulation is general awareness training, not legal advice. It describes what the law says and what good practice looks like; it never directs a named organisation. Learners are told to take their own advice on their specific obligations.
